New Merkados Interactive Partners Brand: Shark

July 17th, 2008 admin

Today is a happy day for all of us here at Merkados Interactive Partners. We are officially launching our portfolio of digital media design under the umbrella of a new brand: Shark Media Design. In the following weeks we would have the website up and running and ready for business. This comes almost as no surprise considering that we have been providing digital media services for a long time now. Nonetheless we are moving this kind of service away from  the Merkados brand and creating a new subdivision.

This move is congruent with the desire to have unique brands for our main three products: Digital Media Design, Webmaster Services and Interactive Marketing. So Merkados is the interactive marketing brand, Shark is going to be the Digital Media brand and *** is going to be the webmaster services brand.

An unknown error occured (-9838)

“We could not complete your iTunes Store request. An unknown error occurred (-9838). There was an error in the iTunes Store. Please try again later.” And that was it. So here I am with no phone, no internet, no navigation device… Are you kidding me? Thousands of people are reporting the same problem and even new customers are going home empty handed. The only available option at this point in the game is to wait. Because unless you can restore your iTunes to something prior to 7.7 and then do a restore on the iPhone 1.x to make it go back, you might not have a phone for more than a couple of hours.

Joking around you could expect the new “set” of funny commercials: “Hi I am a Mac and I am a PC, I launched a product and left thousands of people without a phone, thousands of dollars where lost, but this is not what happened with Vista, right?”

I think that the marketing campaign employed up to this point could backfire. My suggestion is to exploit Apple’s greatness and leave the comparison aside.
